Amazon’s own published image requirements: 1000px minimum on the longest side, 1600px to enable zoom, 10MB file ceiling, pure white background on the main image, product filling at least 85% of the frame, and no text or logos on the main image.
It is a heuristic, not full character recognition. It looks for dense clusters of small high-contrast detail, which is what overlay text and badges look like to a computer. Treat a flag as a prompt to look at the image yourself.
No. This grades technical quality and compliance, which is the floor. Whether the images communicate the right benefits in the right order is a design and strategy question the numbers cannot answer.
